KLEINER SCHAKAL // Greece

“Kleiner Schakal” is a small villa in the rural countryside of Pelopponese, Greece. Surrounded by vast grecian landscapes it is currently renovated through the artisan craftsmanship of the owners, turning a former birth-place into a bespoke hideaway.

From restoring the ancient dry-stone walls to creating bespoke tiles for the interiors, the owners let their artisanal perspective flow into the space.

The garden plays with the spontaneity found in the vast grecian landscapes surrounding the property, whilst remaining its ornamental aspects through fragrant shrubs, herbs and a rhythm of succulents that add depth and discovery to the space. Pathways are created using on-site stones leading the visitor further into the garden, allowing for a meandering pace that is reflecting the ease of Mediterranean spaces.

It is currently being planted (Autumn 2024) to start growing with the rains during the winter period which you can explore in the video below.
